Mentions

John Leo's speech, "On Good Writing," is a tour de force.  To sum up–and utilizing some of his prescriptions and tenets–I learned a lot.

It was both delightful and depressing to digest John Leo's essay about the declining quality of writing today–a theme we seem to repeat from generation to generation.  It seems to me that no one is concerned about observing the traditional rules of grammar and punctuation.
